The most overlooked stage of getting organised and staying clutter free is implementing maintenance habits into your daily routine and this simple secret is often overlooked.

Don’t wait until it’s a huge overwhelming job, instead consider starting with these 3 simple secrets to save you time and make your life run smoother.

  1. THE 10 MINUTE TIDY UP

    Even something as simple as building in a 10 minute tidy up before you go to bed each night can make an enormous difference.

  2. WEEKLY PANTRY RESETS

    This easy step involves setting aside a little time each week, usually only about 10 minutes is needed, to reset your pantry.

    During this time check what items need topping up and using up.

    Put things back in their right place, after a busy week things often get quickly put back into the wrong spot making them hard to find when you next need them.

    This is also a good time to add things to your shopping list that are almost finished.

  3. DON’T PUT IT DOWN, PUT IT AWAY!

    This is pretty self explanatory! Have you found your flat surfaces are an absolute magnet for clutter? We’re talking about bench tops, coffee tables, dining tables…

    When you pick something up, follow through and put it away in its proper home. Don’t think “I’ll do this later”

    Do you know? Later is actually the best friend of Clutter!

    It only takes you a few extra seconds to put things back in their right home.
